The experience of staying in a 15th century chateau is really special considering that we come from Australia.

This was our second stay at this amazing chateau, we loved it so much we took friends there this time. This is a truly unique place! The owner Gerard is so friendly and also speaks good English. We were allowed to explore the chateau, finding a chapel, cinema room and coats of armour! The breakfast was very nice, croissants, toast, OJ and hot drinks, served by Francoise, who made us feel very comfortable and also speaks good English. The town of Aubusson is a nearby but not walkable. We took a picnic for the evening and ate it in the chateau grounds. We also made use of the swimming pool which was great.

Parking was very easy. The castle atmosphere was very nice. Check-in process and stay was very smooth, Good breakfast with nice staff.

Stunning chateau and location! A unique and privileged experience to stay in such an historic place.An extra bonus to use a private indoor swimming pool. Would advise taking food to eat with you for evening meal to fully enjoy the setting. Breakfast provided was good with a spectacular view.
