it was historic, kept to the style of a 18th century house. very big rooms. Things worked, nothing luxurious. lovely breakfast, Corinne was very attentive to a beautifully laid out breakfast table, home made jams and marmalade, fruit, sheep yogourt, and croissants. lovely paintings of Corinne all round the house, talented artist.

Fantastic b&b in a 400 yo house with charming decor and interesting past (silk making industry in the 19th century up until the fifties). The lady of the house is rather special. Location in a quiet street in a lovely town not entirely spoilt by tourism.

The kind, knowledgeable and friendly host booked a table for us at the local restaurant and made us a delicious breakfast with her homemade preserves. Comfortable and elegant house with an authentic charm, tucked discreetly into a traditional rural town.
