The location is a good starting point. Within a 30-minute drive, you can reach several interesting beaches (e.g. Plage de Nonza or Plage de Saleccia). It was the cheapest accommodation I could find on the island.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this campsite. The main advantage is that you’re surrounded by nature the entire time. The beach is just a 3-minute walk away. La Roya Beach is sandy, with clear and warm water, and there are shallow areas that are perfect for families with children. The waves are small, making it ideal for learning to swim or use a SUP board. It’s a peaceful place with not too many people. There’s a restaurant-pizzeria nearby for a quick bite. In the evening, it’s lovely to take a walk along the beach to the town of Saint-Florent. We stayed in a mobile home, which was very comfortable. It had a kitchen with all the necessary dishes and utensils, a shower, and rooms that can accommodate up to six people. There was enough space to store our belongings. A nice bonus was the attached terrace with a table and chairs — perfect for eating outside or relaxing. We were lucky to have a view of the bay and the beach right from our spot.
