What a little 💎 of a place this is,the hosts Linda are an absolute delight and the property is absolutely stunning,couldn't think of a better place to stay. Thank you for being excellent hosts and making me feel like I'm home. They go above and beyond to look after you and I certainly will be staying here again if I'm passing through. Peaceful and tranquil location. Quiet idyllic in a very large forest clearing. Excellent breakfast included. Optional very good evening dinner available Possible suitable location for cycling

We had an amazing stay with Linda, Toby and Nelly. A beautiful location for the house, a very warm and friendly atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the very relaxed but entertaining evening meal, starting with canapés in the garden, followed by 3 beautiful courses with a real emphasis on local ingredients and suppliers, plus one of the best cheese boards ever! The breakfast was exactly what we needed, fresh coffee and croissants, selections of cereals and so on. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, as was the entire property. Even the modern bathroom deserves a shout out, after a long drive a proper shower is always welcomed and this was no disappointment. Overall we can’t thank Les Colas enough for a great stay, with guests also from France and Germany at the table we had a really enjoyable exchange of stories and culture, of course some humour too. We hope to return in the not too distant future and would encourage anyone to stay there too, Guedelon being just up the road is perfect. Merci Beaucoup.

A real gem run by the friendliest of couples, close by Guedelon castle. Linda & Toby are both excellent chefs as well and the cheeseboard is to die for. Breakfasts are copious too. The bed was very comfortable and overall we were looked after like members of the family. This spirit was passed onto the other guests who were all really nice and friendly.
