The peacefulness of the place, the beautiful garden and the refreshing pool! The owner was very welcoming and her cooking was delicious.

I loved the houseparty feel of the stay. Meeting the other guests, eating breakfast around a multilingual conversation, the hosts were wonderfully warm and kind. The house itself is old and beautifully furnished, but also comfortable and cosy (late September and the weather was feeling autumnal) The proximity to Guedelon was the initial draw, and it was indeed a very short drive, through very pretty countryside. The town is a visual jewel, that I hadn't expected to find myself in.
