It was close to the town Cosy lounge and plenty of space, lovely to have a bath tub and extra hand basin . Very quiet area, plenty of take away & eating options so no need to cook!

I'd seen a few negative reviews on here from people who just didn't get that if you want a true Cornish house on an idyllic, narrow Cornish street, you can't have cars outside. Parking in one of the two, close car parks was no problem at all and we travelled with a 6 and 4 year old. They were free after 5 and all weekend. It meant that people could ride their horses right past the house each morning and my kids loved the fact that the rider's helmets nearly came as high as their bedroom window ledge. If this were a wider street with cars on it, it would have totally lost its feel, especially at night when walking to and from the pub or shop. The beds were very comfortable indeed with some level of memory foam going on, I think. The lamp lighting in the front room and bedrooms was also very tasteful and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped and there was ample space for a family of 4 throughout the house. We really liked the welcome book that the host had made too. It was very well detailed with all info you needed for the stay. The shower was very nice with a great water pressure and overhead or hose options. Also, our towels were huge (think single bed sheet or near enough). Very nice touch.

The whole place is very well appointed and extremely comfortable from the settees to the beds. Really feels like home after a day out. Everyone is so friendly in the village. Would go back again as a base for a holiday.
