The host was very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. The location is amazing, extremely quiet, with many beautiful walking trails nearby. The chalet is very comfy and cosy. Dogs are welcomed. The garden is huge as well.

The silence. The owner wasn’t there, but the other guest took over the role and it perfectly, she should be paid 😂

This is basically a small hostel, which we didn't realise when we booked. We had a small double room with a shared bathroom. There is another bedroom, and it was also occupied while we were there, so we were a bit surprised when we arrived, and realised we were sharing the house with another couple, as that was not what we were expecting. However, that's on us for not reading the fine print when we booked. There was no internet (clearly stated on Booking.com, but again, we didn't check beforehand). The host, Yannick, met us when we arrived, and made it clear we were to make ourselves at home. The kitchen is plentifully stocked with all sorts of food and drink that we were allowed to use. Yannick even got eggs for me as I am GF and he had no other GF food on hand, which was very kind of him. If you realise this is a shared house out in the countryside with limited amenities (no microwave) it is a fine place to stay for a night.

We stopped on the way to Lyon from Paris at Yannick's chalet. The chalet is very well located in a beautiful and quiet area. Yannick is a very welcoming host, the room was spacious and comfy with access to the kitchen and bathroom. I would definitely go back there to explore the Morvan region!
