We stayed here three years ago and this time it was even better. Beautiful location on the river, excellent breakfast, clean, fresh bedding and lovely host.

A quintessential quaint small town hotel with beautiful views of the river from the bedrooms. Beds were comfortable, the larger ones more soft than the day bed. Showers large and good water pressure. Breakfast was beautifully laid out, ample and tasty. Town is sleepy but we were able to take in a drink at a local bar (Le Ptit Basque) and later a delicious dinner at the Italian restaurant by the church. Market in town the next day (thursday). A memorable stay!

Right in centre of St Astier with several good restaurants in walking distance. Nice big bed and view of river - as name promises.
