This was the best accommodation on our Salkantay trek. The room and en suite were luxurious in comparison, and the food was fabulous. A delicious soup and trout for dinner and a plentiful breakfast with Fredy's super coffee. We were greeted with a warm welcome and delicious cold drink on arrival and then later after hot shower (with toiletries supplied, not always a given) Fredy, the owner showed us his coffee plantation and the process of making coffee from plant to cup. An extremely comfortable and interesting stay, go there if you can.

came in with high expectations based on the reviews and the place definitely (over)delivered. super nice family run business, Freddy took us on a wonderful coffee/cocoa tour on his plantation, which was a unique experience. the food was nice, large dinner and large breakfast. this has to be the choice of stay in Lucmabamba. value for money is amazing if you include the food and the coffee tour.

Amazing stay in Lucmabamba - great coffee tour and great food. Rooms are clean spacious and have nice bathroom. 10/10 definitely stay.

Everything. We couldn’t rate this place highly enough. We felt like we were truly ‘looked after’ and nothing was too much trouble.
