This house is super unique! Old and quirky while still being spacious enough for a large group. We loved the hidden 'escape room' type details and the cupboard under the stairs is adorable (made a great reading nook for the kids). We had a small mix up on arrival - we hadn't realised that while we had booked the '8 room stay' there was in fact a '9 room stay' which included the outside annexe. On of our party had found the 9 room stay online beforehand and assigned rooms based on that (of course this was our error but in fairness I don't think it's clear in the booking). This meant we had promised some ground floor rooms to the older members of our party who preferred to avoid the stairs. The host very kindly allowed us the additional annexe last minute at a reduced rate which was hugely appreciated. Everything was very clean and tidy on arrival including all linens. There was plenty of crockery, glasses and cooking equipment and 2 large dishwashers which made it very easy to clean up after ourselves.
