This is a stunning hotel and having spent 4 nights there we couldn't find fault - there is so much to love. The Chateau and the gardens are stunning - and throw in a lovely, heated swimming pool with very hot weather and you have holiday perfection. We ate in the bistro 3 nights and the food and ambience were exceptional. We also ate in the Michelin starred Le Cedre restaurant and the 7 course taster menu was faultless. Perhaps the nicest thing about the hotel are the staff, who without exception were the friendliest, most professional group of people - a credit to the Chateau.

The place it is absolutely beautiful , rooms and clean and decorated with style . This place is pure magic . And is dog friendly with a lot of green space to walk your furry friend . The restaurant is amazing and the food superb!!! We really enjoyed it ! Merci :)

We stayed at the exquisite Chateau de Montcaud for three long, glorious sunlit days in July 2024. What can we say? Perfection, perfection, perfection. We were greeted on arrival by Julyane, the concierge. Julyane was one of the main highlights of our stay. Charming, welcoming, kind and very efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. His first words to us were. “You can relax now. We will look after you. “ … And they did. Breakfast and dinner in the Bistro. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Dinner at Le Cedre was beyond compare and should not be missed. And for a 1 star Michelin restaurant it was very good value. The poolside service was perfect. Unobtrusively. I’ve attached photos but it does not do this beautiful building and fine, fine service justice. We will definitely be returning next year for a repeat. Wonderful, don’t hesitate to come here. We stayed in a privilege room. Bed very comfortable and air conditioning very efficient - and we were here in a heatwave. Everything was immaculate.
