Quiet, in the woods, 7 mins drive to Saariskella town. Managed to catch aurora on our last night just outside/ above the apartment

We had an amazing stay and created so many beautiful memories in Saariselkä. The accommodation was wonderful, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was exceptional — very kind, responsive, and helpful. They answered all our questions and even helped us plan activities such as husky sledding, snowmobile rides, and a spa visit, which made our trip truly special. Check-in was super easy, and the customer service throughout our stay was outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Saariselkä!

We had an amazing time at Paukkula. The apartment is very comfy, charming and well equipped, with all necessary to have a great time. It’s close enough to Saariselkä to enjoy all the activities but far enough to see the northern lights directly from the house. Ilkka was very helpful but discreet and kind.

Beautiful and peaceful location in the forest; spacious and super clean apartment; cozy interior design (we loved the chimney!); everything you need to cook your own meals; easy self check-in and check-out; excellent value for money.
