Location was brilliant, close to station and town centre. Property was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Appreciated the little extra touches - plenty of games comics etc for our little one, books, good information files with walks leaflets etc, tea,milk, cookies, wine waiting for us on arrival.

Great location and pretty quiet considering it’s next to a pub. Good amount of space, wasn’t expecting to get and en suite. Very clean, well equipped kitchen. Would have happily stayed longer than the 3 nights. Price was reasonable though it was in Jan.

There’s a lot to like about the property: house is cozy, location is great, and the owner is really helpful. Mermaid Street is about 50 metres from the property, and town centre is a mere 5 minutes walk away. Feel like getting groceries all of a sudden? Jempson’s supermarket is open until 10pm and is only within 5 minutes walk away. The property is also in proximity of the famed Rye County 1066 Walk, so you can practically start the walk from the house. At check-in, the owner Mrs King generously had a box of cookies and wine ready at the house as a welcome gesture for the guests. A class act. Will be looking to stay here again, if ever i’m in this neck of the woods again.
