There’s a lot to like about the property: house is cozy, location is great, and the owner is really helpful. Mermaid Street is about 50 metres from the property, and town centre is a mere 5 minutes walk away. Feel like getting groceries all of a sudden? Jempson’s supermarket is open until 10pm and is only within 5 minutes walk away. The property is also in proximity of the famed Rye County 1066 Walk, so you can practically start the walk from the house. At check-in, the owner Mrs King generously had a box of cookies and wine ready at the house as a welcome gesture for the guests. A class act. Will be looking to stay here again, if ever i’m in this neck of the woods again.

We loved everything about this house. immaculately clean. comfortable beds, good quality towels and linen. Perfect location for exploring Rye. Walking distance of station if needed. Amazing to have 3 proper spacious bedrooms. Just perfect.
