Food served in the Restaurant: Monday to Friday from 17:00 until 20:00, Saturday from 15:00 until 20:00 and Sunday from 12:00 until 17:00.Bar opening hours are: Monday to Thursday 15:00 to 22:00, Friday from 14:00 til late, Saturday from 12:00 til late and Sunday from 12:00 til 21:00.Late check-in after 23:00 maybe possible by prior arrangement with the property and an additional fee of GBP 25 applies.

We had an amazing time at Lyons Woodlands Hall. We had booked a lodge weeks ago and had no idea that there would be a storm! We managed to get to the hotel after driving through floods and fallen trees etc. When we arrived, there was no one in reception and we sat down to warm up and wait in the bar. After a few minutes, a really nice man called Will asked us about our stay and what we had booked etc. He couldn't have been more helpful, especially when he explained that there were hardly any staff in because of the storm. He spoke to his manager who agreed that, should we not be able to travel home on Sunday as planned, that we could stay an extra night free of charge. He offered us afternoon tea free of charge and explained about breakfast with Santa in the morning. He honestly deserves a pay rise and a bonus for Xmas!! The lodge itself was clean, spacious and very warm, the heating had been left on which we were very grateful for! There were 2 toilets, which, when you have 3 teenagers, was a godsend! The kitchen had plates, mugs, cooking utensils etc. The beds were comfy and we all had a good night's sleep, even with the wind raging. I'd read some previous reviews about the lodges and was apprehensive about staying here, but in my opinion, it was a lovely stay and the staff were beyond helpful. We can't fault a thing.
