Our family of seven had a wonderful winter getaway at Boutique Rusutsu Holiday Chalet. The chalet offers stunning views of Mount Yotei and is just a 10-minute drive to Rusutsu ski fields. Hosts Yi-Ching and Julien were incredibly warm and welcoming, with excellent communication prior to and during our stay, and helpful recommendations for restaurants, onsens, and local produce. The beautifully restored Japanese farmhouse is cozy, charming, and thoughtfully maintained, blending traditional character with modern comfort. It was the perfect place to unwind after skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend Boutique Rusutsu Holiday Chalet.

Lovely spacious accommodation. All rooms are a good size and the common rooms are very good for socialising as if a lot of space well supplied the kitchen very comfortable beds. House is out of town in the countryside so very quiet and nice to be away from the ski slopes for a change. Amazing view of the volcano.

Beautiful fully equipped holiday home, and it has two toilets and bathrooms. The owners, Julian and Yi Ping made every effort to make us feel comfortable and welcome. And they had taken the care to provide English speaking Netflix, ( weirdly this seems unusual in Japan, even in high end hotels).
