We had a great stay at Schneckenhaus Dachstein West. I appreciated nice and comfortably furnished apartment, excellent communication with the host and beautiful nature in the surroundings (Hallstätter See, Gosausee). Highly recommended! The place is also perfect for cycling around Hallstätter See with kids (6 y.). We parked our car in Obertraun, which was a perfect choice. To get to Hallstatt by bike, it takes cca 4 km. Or one can go the other side along the lakeside.

One of the best places we've ever stayed. You do feel like home. The owners were incredibly nice and welcoming. The cleanliness was outstanding—absolutely spotless. The views were breathtaking, and the apartment had everything we could possibly need. Will definitely stay again.
