I loved how secluded we were without being too far away from some of the delightful little towns and villages. We visited Coniston, Windermere & Hawkshead to name a few of my favourites. The owners Gay & Graham are close by to help with anything you need. Plenty of books & leaflets in the cottage to plan walks & places to visit. We got amazing weather too. Thanks for a lovely holiday in The Lake District xx

Rural location with a variety of walks nearby. Nice retreat from city life. The property is pet friendly too. The hosts were wonderful and they even baked us scones! The bed is super comfortable that we were happy to have a lie in instead of doing some sightseeing!
