The location was uplifting with open fields and no onlookers nearby; it was a pleasure to see the sunrise in the morning from the veranda. The accommodation was close to several beautiful & lush outdoor attractions and only a short commute to local shops & the bigger supermarkets. We particularly enjoyed an outing to Emma Bridgewater's pottery factory & Trentham Estate both on the same route and day. The property was in a quiet & peaceful location away from any traffic noise. It was impressive how well stocked the property was as it had most of the necessary domestic items needed for kitchen use and washing, etc, but a large salad bowl made of glass or similar rather than a small plastic mixing bowl would have been a welcomed & necessary addition. A plethora of cool drinks stocked in the fridge upon arrival was a fantastic welcome especially as we were experiencing very hot weather and had both travelled a distance. The Annex is lovely, peaceful, tastefully decorated and well laid out. It is an open plan dwelling. The owner was very amiable and responsive to rectifying problems: in this case, the hot tub.
