We had five wonderful days at Katarina's appartement. It was superhot, but the ac worked very good and fast. The appartement contained everything we needed, and outside she had made a charming little terrace, alongside a garden where she grows herbs and vegetables (of which we received several). The location looks a bit strange at first, but actually it's a hidden gem. The appartement is almost surrounded by a shipyard for small boats. So you mainly hear local people doing repairs on their boats, but not the traffic on the main road. The view on the impressive mountain is stupendous, and the walks along the water with all the boats and local activity are really charming. But most of all Katarina, and her sister as well, was a very warm, helpful presence full of fun and jokes. We highly recommend the place, and it turns out we had the smaller of her two appartements!

The location was easy to reach from Dubrovnik but offered total relaxation in a peaceful countryside location, a break from the tourism chaos of the town. The host was exceptionally helpful , warm and approachable, allowing us to stay on a little longer than checkout time, so that it tied in with our bus departure.
