I had a genuinely great stay here and felt it deserves a proper review. The hotel has a very unique atmosphere — it’s vintage, but not in the typical old-fashioned way. It feels more like a modern, artistic take on vintage design. Minimalistic, but at the same time full of character. You can tell that everything has been built and added over time, piece by piece, with intention. Every floor is different, and every room has its own personality, which makes the whole experience feel special and not repetitive like standard hotels. The place itself is incredibly მშვიდ and quiet. It’s tucked away in a calm area in Pembury, yet still very close to Tunbridge Wells town centre, which is a big плюс. The street is not noisy at all, even from the front side of the building, so you can truly relax. One thing that stood out is how the hotel operates — it’s mostly automated. There isn’t a traditional front desk with staff always present, but everything is clearly organized. There are instructions for contacting reception, and it actually works very efficiently. I had a small issue with the hot water — it stopped after a few minutes. I contacted reception using the system provided, and the response was immediate. I was offered a code to use another room if I needed a shower urgently, which I really appreciated. Within just a few minutes, a staff member arrived, calmly and professionally handled the situation, reset the system, and explained everything clearly. The attitude was relaxed, respectful, and genuinely helpful — not rushed or dismissive. The surroundings are also beautiful — there’s a garden area outside and even a small pond, which adds to the peaceful vibe of the place. Overall, this is not just a place to sleep — it’s a place with atmosphere. Quiet, artistic, thoughtfully built, and well-managed. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different from the typical hotel experience.
