We had an absolutely wonderful stay and enjoyed every moment of it! The place is beautiful, cozy, and truly special, and we felt so relaxed and happy throughout our stay. Above all, we are incredibly grateful to Juni and Katya, who were so kind, thoughtful, and welcoming - they made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. We would be absolutely delighted to come back again! P.S. You absolutely must try the sauna and the dip in the icy lake - such an amazing experience!

We stayed in the "glamping" cottage with two people last month, and I so wish we'd had the time for more than a night! The area surrounding Kotatuli Forest Lodge is stunning and quiet. We booked an excursion on horseback as we're both experienced riders, and it was absolutely magical to experience the forest in deep snow. We came to Rovaniemi for the nature, not the Christmas kitsch, so this place was exactly what we were looking for. The cottage was cozy, warm, and perfectly private. We covered our own dinner in the main house, which was absolutely no problem. The dogs were great cuddle buddies and there was plenty of space in the common area for us alongside the other guests and staff working the property. The cottage itself had everything needed to cover our comforts for the night, and probably even a longer stay if our itinary had allowed for it. I'm very tempted to book this again for a better shot at the aurora - it was overcast all week, but we did catch a glimpse on our trainride back to Helsinki! - or to see the area in summer.
