I am probably getting a little old for shared bathrooms and yet our stay at CityHub was excellent, as the bathrooms and facilities were so well maintained. If you are looking for an affordable option, that isn't a party type hostel, stay here. They have great facilities downstairs, where we were allowed to stay despite arriving early and a late check in. They have lockers and very helpful staff. More than that - the location seemed like party central despite this, the cityhub accomodation was incredibly sound proof and quiet, not just from the street but also from other guests.

The pods are quite roomy and the bathrooms are cleaned frequently. Staff is super nice and very helpful. Loved the self-service bar!

I was a bit worried, as pod experience is slightly different to both a hotel and hostel environment. I tend book hotels. And as I was only here for Northsea Jazz Fest, it was hard to find somewhere reasonable priced and with easy access to get to Ahoy for just a weekend. Everything at Cityhub is pretty much laid out for you.... I was out for most of the day so all i needed was a bed and some shelfs to put my clothes on. The showers were clean and never busy. Everytime I used them nobody was there. Usually when i get back to my room i always have a drink and a snack. They had vending machines and a bucket of ice in the kitchen for your drink. It was very quiet at nights, and people seemed respectful. The location was great for bars, restaurants, supermarket. Location was also good to get to the venue. 10 minute walk to the underground station. Just very convenient. 31/07/25 update: Quick shout out to Annebel and the team. Super helpful and friendly. I am going to reserve a hub for next year, as it's more then likely I'll back.
