Motel Overview

Set on 4 acres of peaceful, landscaped gardens, Hideaway of Rotorua offers affordable accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. It is located within 7 minutes drive of Rotorua's town centre.
The large children's adventure playground is surrounded by trees and features tree huts, swings, tunnels, slides and a flying fox.
Hideaway Lodge Motel offers self-catering apartments with fully equipped kitchens. Each apartment has a private balcony with an outdoor setting and lovely garden views.
Laundry and storage facilities are available. Bike was and storage available.
Hideaway of Rotorua is within 3 km of local attractions, including Quad Zone, Skyline Skyrides, Rainbow Fairy Springs Wildlife Park and the Agrodrome. Guests can explore walking tracks and a boiling mud pool at Kuirau Park, 6 minutes drive away.

Was a great stay, it would be better if we stay in this place in summer. The playground is safe and fun for kids, and the alpacas and sheep are really cute and approachable. The room view is good and warm.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a perfect base to visit Waitomo Glowworm, Hobbiton, Redwoods at the Whakarewarewa Forest. We also visited Te Puia, a cultural/geyser center. The room was nice, quite spacious and clean. The playground and animals were nice additions when you are travelling with little kids.

Lots of space for parking, a lovely bathroom and kitchen and big comfortable bed. Lots of space for the kids and the playground was cool too.
