We opted for a sea view room which overlooked Rothesay Bay. The view was spectacular, the Bay was busy with the ferry every half hour (coming and going), sailing yachts and fishing vessels. The bed was extremely comfortable, as was the settee . There was tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer - everything you would need. The full Scottish breakfast was amazing, with a generous helping of everything from Haggis to bacon, sausage and fried egg (or scrambled etc if you preferred). We had porridge and toast on two of the mornings - couldn't be better!! Excellent shower in the bathroom!! Probably the best family run accommodation we have stayed in.

Perfect location for anyone visiting Bute . The hotel is within a mile of the ferry terminal at Rothsay. I was lucky enough to be allocated a room at the front of the hotel which provided a magnificent view over the entry to the harbour. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices from the menu.
