Hotel Overview

Set in a 12th-Century building, this hotel offers spa facilities and elegant rooms overlooking gardens and the beautiful Tauber Valley. It stands on the edge of Rothenburg’s Medieval town centre.
All of the spacious rooms at the 3-star-superior Burghotel have a seating area, minibar and cable TV. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and is located nearby. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel.
A rich breakfast buffet is provided each morning in the breakfast room. It offers views of the valley. Guests are invited to dine at the hotel's restaurant which includes a rose garden and terrace, across the way.
The modern spa area includes a sauna, spa showers and a relaxation area, all available for guests to use for an extra charge. Private 2-hour spa sessions can also be booked.
An archway leads from the Burghotel into the old Dominican monastery's gardens. Guests are welcome to relax here.

The Burg Hotel in Rothenburg was exceptional! Our room with a terrace was very well appointed and perfectly located on the village wall overlooking the lovely meadows and valley. Rothenburg has been one of our favorite stays in Germany and we highly recommend the Burg Hotel. Otto, our host was charming and very helpful.

The charming owner Otto, the most magnificent breakfast with fresh produce and served on the prettiest crockery, spacious and welcoming apartment, having a washing machine. We are so so glad we changed our plans to visit Rothenburg and only wish we had been able to stay longer. We visited in early April and are glad we were there outside of peak season.

The visit to the place was an extraordinary experience. The building is magnificent, and the location is quiet, with a stunning view. The room is fantastic, clean, large, and, above all, very quiet. The building's location allows for parking and walking tours of the area. The breakfast is very varied. The view from the breakfast room is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and ready to help with everything.
