Perfect base to explore the lake district. Rooms were lovely, bed was huge & the mattress on the bed is one of the best I've ever slept on! The view from the room window was lovely as well. The set menu dinner was fab, you got 3 choices for the starter, main & dessert. We had the lamb main which was absolutely amazing! All staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble! Will definitely be returning!
