great location, very clean and comfortable accommodation

The location was perfect - situated on the side of the lake and away from the other three properties. The hot tub was lovely and kept at a constant 37 degrees. Wildlife around the lake was fascinating especially as some moorhen chicks fledged from a nest in the tree near our cabin. A great spotted woodpecker surprised us by drumming on the side of the cabin quite early in the morning - what a way to wake up! The song thrush provided a delightful background song. Everything needed was provided and Liz and Richard went out of the way to resolve a small problem with the hob. Plenty to do in the area whatever your interests. We enjoyed trips to Slimbridge, Symonds Yat, Bodenham Lake nature reserve and National Trust properties at The Weir Garden and Berrington Hall. We also enjoyed a pleasant meal at The Moody Cow.

The location was stunning, very peaceful with gorgeous views. The lodge itself was very spacious & well supplied.
