Very special place in a deserted area. We had a lot of fun swimming in a pool, visited sights around, seeing shooting stars show. Isabella is a great host who always help with any question you have. I strongly recommend. There is no supermarkets or restaurants around, but Isabel can cook something for you. Also, its a good bar near the pool.

Isobel was exceptionally hospitable and made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. Her knowledge of the surrounding area was useful for us to decide where to go next(we are touring on bicycles) and her home cooked meals are delicious! Highly recommend this casa!

Very lovely owner: She offered to cook for us, because there are no restaurants close-by. She prepared amazing and very delicious meals for us and made sure everything was vegan. She also gave many helpful recommendations to us, what to do and what to see in the area and in the Tejo Natural Park. She told us interesting stories of the area, whereas she was never intrusive. The rooms and the house in generell are very beautiful, clean and comfortable. The area and the nature around the house are magnificently beautiful. You can see many birds, deer and bunnies. We feel so lucky that we've been here during springtime, because all the hills are covered in yellow and purple flowers. Especially the wild lavender is so beautiful. I can recommend this place 100%. Casa dos Xares was definitely by far the best accommodation during my stay in Portugal and one of the best, I've ever been at. Thank you, Isabel!
