Very cosy cottage with the stunning views from the living room. We used the place as the starting point of exploring North York Moors and the coastal towns as Whitby and Robin Hood Bay. Enjoyed local walks. We didn't have a chance to use the private back garden but can imagine it being a wonderful place where to relax after long days of exploration in the area. Bedrooms were tiny but cosy.

A very cosy and well equipped cottage with stunning views over Rosedale and a spectacular approach from the moors via Chimney banks. The cottage is situated centrally in the North York Moors National Park and therefore an ideal place from where to explore the National Park. Despite its central location it is very peaceful and quiet. The cottage itself is furnished very tastefully and makes you feel at home at once.

The view is exceptional! Such a pleasure to have breakfast amid the flower garden. The behind garden perfect for dinner sunsets. The quietness. The proximity of moor walks.

Fantastic location in a lovely village with views over the north YorkMoors. Two good pubs nearby. The accommodation was slightly dated in parts and the main double bedroom was quite small but it offered very good value for money.
