With the soft tug of the wind winding down the evening, you will watch in awe as the spectacular milky way reach and stretch above you. The bronzy pink hues change the landscape with dawn, and you will hear the small inhabitants of the mountain slowly rise to meet the day. Cold beer and a warm smile from a local is close enough when you need it, with a random check in from the local baboons as they gently cruise around and entertain with their antics. You are bound to be captured regularly by the breathtaking ocean views, ensure sufficient time to embrace it. Honour the gifts you receive here…

Sometimes you just cannot believe how amazing these places are and that only a few people get to enjoy them. This is one of them. We had such an incredible time at Klein Hangklip. The cabin is just out of this world. Probably one of the most well equipped places we have ever stayed at. My daughter woke us up at 6 am every morning. And I didn't mind sitting in the comfy armchairs looking over false bay. Could have easily spent more time here.

Karen was in contact with me the day before and arranged time of arrival and when I arrived, she was already waiting for me. The interior of the facility is absolutely world class! It is beautifully decorated, it has all the necessary utilities to make your stay comfortable, it has the most awesome view and needless to say it is very peaceful. We visited on the weekend when half of Cape Town blew away and although we had wind, it was still ok as we could still have a braai seeing that we could pull the gasbraai underneath the roof and that area is quite protective against the wind. I think it's important that overseas guests understands that you don't go and stay there to be close to the beach or at least not in walking distance. You are very high up in the mountain, but hence the most spectacular views! I know the area has baboons but they have electric fencing so we didn't see one of them but Karen will explain to you how to manage them, so they are genuinely not a problem. The beds were comfy and we had a great stay. It is the type of place where you will go for 2 days to rest, chill, have a glass of wine and just enjoy the silence around you surround by the most beautiful nature. The house is designed with lots of windows so you can really enjoy the mountain and sea view.

The views were out of this world. The property inside and out are stunning. Very well stocked for a holiday home
