The location was lovely, very quiet and perfect for a couple. The extra amenities were great, wood fired hot tub, fire pit, etc. The unexpected treats were nice, such as the bottle of bubbly and breakfast. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the living area was as expected from the listing. Overall it was a really lovely place to stay, I would recommend it and go back myself.

quiet neighborhood, perfect for a break from everyday life. A perfect place to relax and rest after work. Cloudless night sky, hot tab, fire pit. Is there anything else needed to recommend this place.

The property was lovely and cozy, although it’s next to their house it’s very private. The view is so peaceful and can do some animal watching. Just very relaxing vibe. The cub has lots of things you need, towels, robes, they provide milk, logs, fire lighter, cutlery, plates etc! They asked what time we would get there and they had the hot tub ready for us, we were so lucky with the weather and were able to go in the hot tub both days. Only thing was as it rained before we got there we struggled to lite the log fire where the seating area was. We took cheese board bits for the Friday and then on the Saturday evening went to the wheatsheaf which was lovely, only a short walk but deffo take a strong torch for the way back - bit of a spooky walk but was a laugh! we took bacon, sausages etc for breakfast assuming there was a hob but we had to cook outside on the fire which was new to us but fun!! there is a microwave/oven which we used and was good! the tv had Netflix which was super handy to just put on sometimes although we were often outside in the tub or out. Host recommended a lovely walk through the forest which we will do next time when we come back! the host come and visited us Saturday morning with a pan for the fire and just chatted to us which was lovely and brought us more fire wood. we found it so relaxing and had so much fun, we will definitely come back for sure! They left us Prosecco for when we arrived and also had boxes of cereal, croissants and crisps which was a lovely touch. My advice would be when driving to the location such for winterberry barn and that’s how you’ll find it easiest. Or when you get to war memorial turn right and then straight left and then just keep going straight on the road until you get to the gates. Our satnav took us past the memorial which they got confused with the instructions given! The shower was lovely and strong and the hairdryer was good too!

We loved the location, and the bed was super comfy. The fire pit and wood fired hot tub were amazing
