Hotel Gea di Vulcano is a traditional hotel. It is not glamorous but is very comfortable and makes for a wonderful stay in Rome. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The hotel is at the rear of the building, away from traffic noise, and my room had plenty of natural light. I was able to check in early and my room was upgraded. Most importantly the owner and staff are kind and welcoming. My stay was brief but I would not hesitate to return.

Location was excellent. Bedroom was traditional but very nice. Lovely lady from reception helped carry our luggage downstairs as lift didn’t want to stop on our floor!

A lovely old building with a courtyard shared with other tenants. Comfortable single room but small and dated but clean. Other single rooms have been updated. Nice breakfast. Good location.
