These kinds of places truly feel like a home away from home. From the first moment until I left, I felt appreciated and genuinely welcome at Alberto’s place. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host throughout the stay was excellent. The rooms are clean, functional, and equipped with everything you need. The small balcony is a great bonus—perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or relaxing in the afternoon. I also really appreciated the small refreshments in the room, as well as the coffee and snacks available in the kitchen. After a day in the city, it’s a thoughtful touch to come back and find something to enjoy. The location is another highlight. It’s in a residential area rather than a touristy one, which we really valued. At the same time, it’s very convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from a Metro A stop, with buses nearby, and supermarkets and other services within walking distance. We also received breakfast coupons for a nearby café, where we could enjoy a hot drink and fresh pastries—such a nice way to start the day. Since we stayed during Easter, we were even surprised with a chocolate gift, which was a lovely and unexpected gesture. I also want to mention how kind and respectful the staff are. All these small details and genuine efforts from the host really make this place stand out. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Rome.

The location of Dulcis in Vatican was ideal - a welcome retreat from the city in hot June. We loved the size and cleanliness of the room, the housekeeping standard and the nice touches like chocolate cake and coffee.

The accommodation was a stones throw away from the metro. Handy for sightseeing plans. The room was comfortable, clean, modern and had all the necessary touches to make the stay comfortable travelling light. The check in was seemless and instructions clear and extra information was offered with pleasure which added to the welcome. There were more than enough refreshments and snacks. The bed was comfortable with a good standard of bedding and pillows. The room was kept at a comfortable temperature.
