Mel “A stunning, peaceful retreat with incredible views”

Salt Cottage is a truly special getaway - the perfect place to unwind and take in the breathtaking mountain scenery. The location feels wonderfully secluded, making it easy to disconnect and relax while still having everything you need nearby. The cottage itself is beautifully designed and furnished with great attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable, and spending time in the pre-heated hot tub (thx!) while enjoying the stunning views was an absolute highlight. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful escape, whether you’re unwinding with a glass of wine or just taking in the fresh air. The WiFi worked well most of the time, and MTN LTE coverage was solid, so working remotely wasn’t an issue. The table on the stoep made for the best office with a view! Hosts Milne & Pieter are fantastic: warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. They made sure we had everything we needed, gave us great local tips, and even had wood delivered within minutes when we ran out. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. We will definitely be back - this place is a gem!

The view. How private the cabin is. How friendly the hostess is. The pool was the highlight. Located in a good area. Everything was just perfect!
