We had an amazing stay at the Grand. Mandy, Trevor and the team were fantastic and did everything to make sure our stay was enjoyable. It was off season so we were the only the guests and the team did everything to make us feel comfortable. We were in the Arabella room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. A fire was lit every evening in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom so the evenings were toasty. We even had a lift in the “London Black Cab” to a wine tasting which was fun. The restaurant food and service were also a hit and there is no need to venture out for dinner. The breakfast was also delicious and we had it served in the garden room every morning which was a lovely way to spend the day! A lot of care and attention to detail has gone into restoring this building to the lovely hotel it is now but it is the team who go above and beyond which differentiates it from other stays we have had. We will be back and can’t wait.

Mandy and Trevor, the two best people I have ever met. They Spoiled us with hot water bottles in the bed and heaters in the room and with other little special treats. Even my car was washed before we left The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and with super comfortable beds and bedding. The host recommended their signature dishes and I agree that it was amazing. I had the Malay Curry and my Wife had the Karoo Lamb with their Malva Pudding as dessert. Super delicious. Shops are in walking distance and a great little town to take a stroll through. We had the greatest experience from the moment we got there to the moment we left. Mandy and Trevor, and their lovable Huskies .Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will be seeing you very soon.

The most delightful authenticity renovated and lovingly restored Heritage hotel which is passionately run by the owners Trevor and Mandy. From the time you walk in the front door you are taken care of and made to feel like part of a loving home. A definite must we will be back 10/10
