Parking outside the house and the car was parked behind locked doors. Rooms were very artistically decorated with a lot of thought put into it. As Gilbert and Blanche’s work shops were within the property, we had a tour showing how hats were made. For me it was the highlight of my holiday. I would really recommend staying here.

Gilbert immediately made us feel comfortable showing us the Chambre and parking as well as their art studios. Both he and his wife Blanche are very talented artists. The accommodation at Les Ateliers d'Art was fabulous and creative in its design and literally on the doorstep of the town. A Fridge & kettle are provided, no cooking. Parking is provided in the price. Breakfast is extra although we didn't book. Nothing was too much trouble from either Gilbert or Blanche, excellent hosts & we thoroughly enjoyed our visit in Roanne.

Loved the location. In the centre of town but very quiet. Easy walk from the station. Accommodation a good size and quaint. Just the French experience we were looking for. Great continental breakfast! Owner was very helpful and spoke English.

This is the best place I have ever stayed. In a delightful spot, facilities superb, as is the food. And the family that run it are as friendly and helpful as you could wish for. When I left I felt I had known them all my life. They will go the extra mile - well beyond the client / patron relationship, to help. I would recommend Les Ateliers without reservation.
