A lovely cottage with everything you could need away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life, quiet enough for a peaceful get away but close enough to the city to visit the local areas & restaurants should you wish. It was a lovely surprise to find a happy anniversary card, wine, flowers, biscuits, chocolate & fruit etc. The hosts Steve & Anne-Marie definately go out of their way to make you feel welcome & relaxed, the app & instructions you receive before you arrive are spot on!! The lovely photo profile online does not do full justice to the quaintness, quirkyness and beauty of the cottage & surroundings with all its period setting Will definately visit again!! Lovely pet friendly facilities as well!! Would have loved to have met the wonderful hosts, but there is always next time!!

Very cosy, beautifully decorated and peaceful and quiet. The location is brilliant, not far from the centre (around 20 minute walk) and plenty of places to walk especially if you have a dog. The house has an enclosed area to let the dog out through the night, which wasn't clear on the listing but it's perfectly secure. We had eggs, milk, chocolate and much more on arrival, just needed butter, (which we uselessly forgot to bring!) Will definitely be staying in the future and suited all of our needs. We had our 5 month old baby too, and felt like we had plenty of room.

The entrance to the property was on a main road with fast moving traffic. It was at the top of a hill. This made both entering and leaving difficult. It was also very hard to spot on our arrival. The signage needs improving a lot. Our stay other than entrance was a pleasant one. Thanks.

As a dog friendly cottage they went above and beyond, with dogs toys, water/food bowls and dog blankets. The area outside would be lovely in summer time with the fire The hosts have thought about everything! The man that works there is so lovely as well
