Very kind, warm, and helpful service. To help overcome the language barrier, the owner arranged for an English-speaking person to welcome us. He also took us—at no extra charge—to a stunning beach. If I were to choose accommodation in Rio Lagartos again, I would definitely choose this place.

the most comfortable bed we have slept in in all of Mexico. The apartment is very well equipped with a complete kitchen, roof terrace, hot tub and most important: an espresso machine! We also loved the garden with the birds and would have loved to have stayed longer than just the one night.

Excellent location. Had originally booked a basic unit but had problems unlocking/locking the door. Transferred to unit overlooking lagoon - perfecto!

Rio Lagartos is a fishing village that is refreshingly immune to tourism except for nature tours. The location was excellent. Both Victor and Ariel were wonderful taking us on boat rides and nature watching tours. Ariel's English was pretty good and he was always available to help. I really enjoyed being with him. It's really close to the restaurants and the one next door has a fabulous sunset views. I enjoyed just sitting down by the dock and watching the water. The deck has nice chairs for reading.
