Guests can leave their luggage at the hotel if they arrive before check-in regular hours.Please note, at random the pool and jacuzzi areas may be close for cleaning.According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarised copies of their IDs.All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarised authorisation signed by the absent parent, along with a notarised copy of that parent´s ID.As of September 01, 2021, guests will have to present proof of vaccination to be able to enter places of collective use in the city of Rio de Janeiro.Please be informed that from 1 June 2025 to 31 October 2025, we will be carrying out modernisation works on the building’s lifts.
During this period, only one lift will be in operation, which may result in longer waiting times.
All work will be conducted in accordance with current technical and legal standards, by a certified and specialised maintenance company.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The staff and location were great! Especially the ones at reception and the lady at the canteen, who hosts guests at breakfast; she's so adorable 😍

I had a very pleasure staying at Oceano Cooacabana Hotel. The location is absolutely fabulous. You just need to cross the Atlantica Av, and you're stepping into the famous Copacabana sand beach. Great views from the top of the building. The staff is also the best in this accommodation. The 2 girls at the reception were very helpful and nice... a great first impression ( I'm so sorry for not mentioning their names as I can't remember, but I'm sure they know who they are). Mrs Graca from the breakfast room is super nice and a super polite lady. Some points for improvements: - WiFi is not reaching the rooms. - Only one lift was working on the 1st day, which caused some issues, but it was fixed on the following day, and it was grand - The hotel needs to change the towels... there are very old. The hotel itself is old-fashioned but it has its charm. However, it needs some updates to improve its standards and to match its location and staff quality.

The location is amazing for Copacabana beach. Some of the staff were really friendly and kind. Safe area to walk around.
