THE LOCATION IS IDEAL FOR CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE METRO STATION AND BUSES. RESTAURANTS ARE PLENTYFUL DIRECTLY ALONGSIDE, WITH A CHOICE TO SUIT ALL TASTES, AND A GOOD SPORTS BARS OPPOSITE. THE STAFF ARE SUPER HELPFUL BOTH FLOR AND ARTO WILL ASSIST IN SPANISH PORTUGUESE AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES WHICH MAKES CHECK IN EASY AFTER A LONG TRIP. THEY WILL ORGANISE SUPER TOURS AND EVENTS. THE HOSTEL IS CLEANED THOUROUGHLY EVERYDAY. THE AREAS MAY BE SMALL IN SPACE BUT THE CLEANLENESS MAKES UP FOR IT, NO SHORTAGE OF HOT WATER ,TOWELS TOILETRIES AND LAUNDRY FACILITIES AVAILABLE. A GOOD HOSTEL FOR MEETING UP WITH FELLOW TRAVELLERS WITH A CLEAN COMFORTABLE SOFA AND RELAXING RESTFUL AREAS FOR CHILLING OUT WITH LARGE LCD SCREEN, THE KITCHEN AND DINING AREA IS WELL LAYED OUT WITH TWO LARGE FRIDGES FOR FOOD STORAGE AND A LARGE DRINKS FRIDGE FOR DRINKS AT COST. I AM WELL TRAVELLED, AND THIS HOSTEL IS TOPS FOR A NIGHT OR EXTENDED STAY WHICH I ENJOYED VERY MUCH AND WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN BOOKING FOR A RETURN STAY. THANK YOU ALL.

Very nice hostel, clean, friendly staff that gives you tips for the city, and the hostel is located in a quiet street in Ipanema, away from outside noise. I would definitely recommend the sunset hike to Dois Irmaos with Flor!

I was a solo female traveller and apart that I am older I felt so welcomed at this place. The staff is adorable! This is a very quiet hostel...absolut silence from 11 P M to 9 A M. That was great. It is all very clean. The location is very good ...you can rent a bike for a very good price there and explore all the coast/ beaches. Also a metro is 10min walk away. and you easily rich Crist the redentor and other places. The kitchen is clean. The neighbourhood is very safe. Few restaurants around and a grocery shop.
