My room with attached bathroom was clean and comfortable. Communication via What's App was generally efficient but that really appeared to be the only form of communication.

Location was perfect. We did not have interaction with the host other than text but he gave us great recommendations for dinner. Many restaurants within feet of the guesthouse. We were able to store luggage on a very early arrival but still git access to the room much earlier than designated. Lovely spot

Marcus was really helpful! He gave us some tips on what to visit in Rio, such as a ronda de samba or local shops. The guest house is very well located in Botafogo, with plenty of nearby restaurants. The location is also very quiet, which is difficult to find in Rio.

A nice little place to stay, in a good location. Quite basic, but clean and very good value for money. Sadly we didn't get to meet our host, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if/when we next visit Rio.
