The fine print
According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarised copies of their IDs.All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarised authorisation signed by the absent parent, along with a notarised copy of that parent´s ID.Please note the hotel does not accept third part credit cards for payment. The credit card holder needs to be the guest.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The location is good. Appr. 5-8min to the beach. The lifts are fast, no waiting time, always available. The room was quiet, big and the shower as well. Plenty of warm water with good pressure. You can open the windows what is a big advantage. The reception and breakfast stuff are polite, attentive, helpful. Breakfast normal, not bad. The best was the bed, it was very comfortable but the sheets was bloody.

Staff were the highlight - really nice! The location is perfect, not noisy at night but close to walk to everything. The bed was comfy.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the Copacabana beach, and it was close to the beach so the place gets a good score for being in a good location. Short walk to the beach and beach towels are provided. The breakfast was fine, it had some warm and some cold options and it was ok. The staff was nice and tried their best to communicate with us in English. WiFi was fine, but not a lot of electrical outlets.
