Great hotel on the lake, perfect to take the ferries and visit the islands but also for walks and bike rides. The hotel offers a big breakfast buffet which you can also enjoy outside overlooking the lake. We really enjoyed this bubble of peace and calm, even though the hotel is quite big. It's been renovated recently, the rooms are comfortable, yet with a standard touch. The staff was friendly. The hotel is located 5min from a grocery store and 10min from the nearest town. We enjoyed the big lawn, perfect for kids to run around.

We loved the outlook from our bedroom, room number 404. The breakfast was brilliant and the location next to the lake was perfect. Lots to do such as SUP boards or rowing boats and I swam in the lake on each day. Chilly but beautifully clear water with the Alps creating a stunning backdrop. Plenty of good parking places. All in all an excellent choice of a place to stay in an idyllic setting on our drive to Italy from the UK. We would stay again and would highly recommend the hotel.

Great place near Chiemsee with super friendly staff and a really good breakfast. The garden is beautiful and gives you private access to the lake. Amazing views of the Alps make it even more special.
