The cottage was furnished and presented to a very high standard with 'as new' mainly solid oak furniture, beautiful oak doors and cottage style ironmongery. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, including a full roast dinner one evening. And the 'useful extras' were all provided - dishwasher tablets and toilet roll for a week, tea, coffee and UHT milk on arrival, decent oven gloves, tea towels, etc. These are all things we have previously had to buy or bring from home when staying in UK holiday cottages. The beds were comfortable. The location is a short walk into Richmond centre, with a well-stocked Morrisons convenience shop just 50m from the front door. And the car parking at the rear of the property is £18 for a full 7 days - we parked each day 5-10m from the garden gate.

Location was perfect , had everything in the cottage that you needed. It has a key safe so had no need to speak with the owners. Lovely quaint cottage , beds were very comfortable and tv’s in 2 of the rooms were a good addition

This was a very special last minute find . Very cosy, wonderfully clean and well appointed. Its location close to the centre of the beautiful market town of Richmond was perfect.
