Consul Hotel is situated in the heart of Riccione, 70 meters form the Riccione beach, closest to Bagni 114 and 300 meters from Via Dante. There are also public free beaches but there's no umbrella or beds for rent there. The hotel hall interiors are a bit dated, but there's a small elevator, wide stairs, a patio with sofas, hotel restaurant which we did not try. Our triple room was clean, had a small useful balcony and a small bathroom with shower and bidet. Shower was small but there was plenty of hot water. There is daily room cleaning service everyday and that's so good to have. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and the cleaning crew are nice and helpful. The hotel parking is Euro 10 per day and it is a long 700 mts away, so we tried our luck and we always found a spot for free on the nearby streets. Watch out for the ZTL (Zona a Traffico Limitato): these are streets where you cannot transit nor park unless you have a special permit.

Nice hotel for to very decent price. Really nice with a pool. We were super lucky to get a free parking spot right outside the hotel - thanks for your help! Very friendly staff :-) Eager to help at all times! Our fridge did not work when we arrived, but the helpful staff changed the fridge asap, so we could have cold drinks- Great help. It was a little bit surprising that the majority of staff did not speak English... But we all managed with some gestures and google translate :-)
