Its a beautiful place between olive trees with a wonderful pool. Marila was a lovely host and helped us with everything. The rooms are modern. Tropea is about 20 minutes away by car.

The rural location and great scenery. The beauty and tranquility and being very close to nature,for example the olive grove bordering the swimming pool and the country lanes. The sound of the cicadas and the black sky with beautiful view of the night sky. We loved the home made breakfasts. The home made marmalade and cake. Also a lovely home made moussaka and aubergine polpettii one lunch time. Danila and Marila were so friendly and welcoming but also giving you space to relax. Our bedroom was spacious and bed very comfortable. Modern bathroom, lovely shower. Loved the interior design of the accommodation and breakfast area -contemporary and antique fusion. Went to some great restaurants within 5 miles. Tropea and beaches a short drive away. Will be going back.

Gallo Fino is a gorgeous agritourismo from which to explore Tropea and the surrounds! Danila could not be a more warm and generous host. We only wish we had a few more days as it was a little piece of heaven. A beautiful pool, fabulous local knowledge and delicious breakfast!

- the ideal situation : 10' from the Santa Maria beach, 10' from Capo Vaticano, 20' from Tropea, 1h30 from Reggio di Calabria - the resort : a restful and green field of olive trees surrounded by the countryside, with a view towards the Monte Poro hills and (in the distance) to the Stromboli; the large swimming pool - the owner, whith numerous attentions to her guests, including wonderful breakfasts (actually more brunches than breakfasts), valuable advice for places to visit, restaurants to go, ... organization of visits such as to a farm making the traditional pecorino & ricotta, interesting discussions about Calabrian culture, gastronomy, daily life etc, the constant smiling and generous attitude, ...
