The facilities, decoration, all very clean, lots of useful extras - like beach towels, Tupperwares, etc -, grill was fantastic and parking at the door is indeed invaluable. Very central location.

The Ribeira Grande is located in the middle of the island and it will take up to 1 hour to drive to any location you want. As for the apartments - we really enjoyed them. The apartment is fully equipped if you prefer to cook. Good internet if you need it. There is a great patio where you can grill and chill. I would even say "fantastic", so much I love it, but the tight schedule and her majesty the Weather didn't allow us to test it ) The panorama window to the patio is adding additional "space" - very good. You can also find some interesting places nearby if you want to walk a little before going to sleep.

Great place to stay on Sao Miguel. Very central for all activities and house was very comfortable
