• The location is absolutely stunning, with a gorgeous ocean view. • Beautiful garden with a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. • Our downstairs apartment was ideal for our 4-year-old, who loved the outdoor space. • Great base for exploring the island. • The nearby town of Ribeira Brava was lovely for evening poncha or a nice lunch.

Spacious living room with huge comfortable couch and small dining table. Complete kitchen with furnace, oven, microwave and refridgerator (no dishwasher) and cooking tools. Less crowded as Funchal but close enough to highway and some nice restaurants in the area (driving distance, too far/large height difference to walk). Parking spot available. Good shower. Spacious garden that may be used. Good website with relevant information. Complimentary bottle of water and wine.

Location was grate if you like variates. We liked local climate, view of the ocean, morning rooster crowing, quiet area, possibilities to make own meals and hot water in the shower- very useful if outside is cold and it’s raining. Love the pool although was cold, rainy and windy at the time we were there.
