The house was well equipped, spacious and modern with top quality and stylish finishes throughout. Certainly a very comfortable place to stay for a few days. It is very close to the river, with great views from the bedrooms upstairs. What made our stay incredibly special was our engagement with the owner, Joal, who went out of his way to make our visit to the Douro valley a most memorable one.
