Fantastic location with stunning views. So convenient for the train station and visiting the surrounding villages. Marta and her family are so welcoming, and the estate with its beautiful gardens and organic orange trees are perfect. The pool is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend, and I hope to visit again soon.

A house was amazing, clean and comfortable. A view from every window was stunning. We stayed 3 night and enjoyed every minute at Marta’s property. In addition we were given fresh bread in the evening, homemade raspberry jam and fresh fruits from the garden.

A warm welcome from Marta who explained everything including little history. The little house was perfect, quiet and private to unwind and relax. The forest above and the Douro below, both easily accessible. Had some really lovely walks. It was all so good.

This is a family property, very well taken care of, with beautiful gardens and a superb swimming pool over the Douro river. Marta welcomed us very well and we felt at home during the entire stay. The house had the essential items (and Marta provided us with the things we found missing).
